my nike frees
i've been a professional trainer for what?...9 or 10 months now? anyhow, when i started out, i bought a pair of shoes that i felt fit the part. little did i know that my particular shoe is the champion's choice of footware for off-season athletes and strength and conditioning coaches, worldwide; i just thought they were a cool concept and mad fly.

the other day i was hunting through the jungles of the footlocker's and champs and athelte's worlds to see if they still had the 7.0 in stock. they did and still do. but why the same price tag? i mean it's been months since they were thrown on the shelves. where's the justice in canada for a dude looking to cop another pair of nikes?

frustrated, i headed home and started looking online. as expected, shoes, like cars, are cheaper in the u.s. than here in canada. go figure. i went to nike ID and starting customizing my own nike free. at first it was just a means of daydreaming and seeing what my favourite work shoe might look like. then it got out of hand. i started messing with different color swatches, swoosh colors, symbols. shoot, i even threw my initials on their so my imaginary clients could remember who their trainer was as they kissed gym floor while doing push-ups. i immediately fell in love the custom i made and figured i had to order them. had to. too bad they're unshippable to canada, i thought to myself.

i'll leave this post open-ended because, hopefully, all fingers crossed, i'll be able to bring my babies to canadian soil and onto my feet where they belong. let me know what you think after the drop.
and don't worry abs and jd, i'm not even considering asking you to ship these out to me, no matter how much i'd pay you. shipping through a particular hookup shall be FREE.
