music world is closing down
first sam the record man and now music world shuts down - but that hasn't really urged me to expand my musical collection anytime soon. although everything is cleared to leave as stated in big, shouting banners all over the store exclaiming, "STORE CLOSING. EVERYTHING MUST GO!!" (why do we have to react to ads that yell like demented idiots?), nothing in the store really jumps out at me. for one, the sale is a mere 10-30% off and that's not on all items. i'm gonna sit tight and hold out until the sale drops to at least the 50 off mark. music world isn't all that anyhow.

it's kinda sad to see it leave though. it's another example of a canadian franchise going under. dammit bestbuy and hmv, i hate you guys. why's it gotta be like that?

eventhough i rarely shop at a lot of canadian companies that do end up going under, i could never figure out my sentimental attachement to them. go figure.....so much for our economy. now, when's the next bus to new york leaving again? i gotta take advantage while our dollar is high.

that's called sarcasm....but not really.
