it took me a week to realize

after a week of not being online in any shape or form, whether that be through messenger or facebook, i've come to terms that i've become a pod; a non-sentient speck of matter previously addicted to the glass-cock-of-a-crackpipe called facebook.

it was evident that more of my time was dedicated towards the senseless browsing of profile pictures and keeping my eye on newsfeed updates. as the universal law states, where time is invested in one area, time has to be lost in other areas and that 'other' area has been here, my personal blog, placebo. not once have i thought about shutting this thing down like my past blogs. this all solely stems from the fact that i have you, my faithful audience coming back for more yet i can't or haven't even given you more than a snack or two to satisfy your reading hungers with.

today, i vow to spend a whole lot less time on facebook and recommunicate and dedicate myself towards this here journal.
i'm a writer and a thinker and dammit, this is my outlet.

all efforts from here on are 50% for me to voice any observations and concerns and 50% for your reading pleasure. that's the division.
