don't get it twisted (like i did)
now, did the allergy medicine i bought yesterday not work because i opted for the cheap, generic, no-name, house brand? or did the allergy medicine i bought yesterday not work because it's not my allergies?

i have a cold dammit and all of that faucet-like nose dripping had much ado about nothing in terms of ragweed.

anyhow, i cancelled four of tonight's clients. that's a good hundred + bucks down the drain. then again, i can rebook them for later this week at some point and still get my just desserts by the next pay cheque. booya.

so that's what trainers do when they get sick....they cancel. brilliant.
here i am now, in the comfort of my green tweed sofa bed lounger blogging and getting ready to what else?....read.

an actual novel.
i've gotten so used to magazines, journals and online text.
novels, huh? haven't done that in a while.
i dunno if i still know how to.

i've been hyping up the alchemist for a couple years now to a whole lot of folks, yet i haven't even read it myself. funny how one of the people that i suggested this book to ended up letting me borrow it, herself.
man, my fever's high. later....the big bowl of pho for lunch helped but hopefully i can coerce mom into making me some piping hot beef sinigang. later, you healthy suckers.

  • allergy meds didn't work b/c you don't have allergy probs right now despite the no name brandness.

good investment purchase tho. you can't have enough of those especially when the hayfever/ragweed/baseball seasons come up.

battle that cold and or don't and enjoy all that is dilla/madlib.

  • hope you're better!

and you should read The Pilgrimage instead of The Alchemist, same author. the latter's alright, but i like The Pilgrimage a lot better. you can get much more out of it. at least i did.

anyway, long time! aside from the sickness, hope everything else is going well. :)
