everybody loves the sunshine
so we reached 30C here in southern ontario yesterday. it was even hotter with the humidex reading. although it was kind of sticky and people were complaning, i have to admit, i loved it and am still loving it. it's been a long time coming that i've been waiting for this weather.

the attitude of a lot of torontonians is kind of a dichotomy; on the one hand, we dread the extreme cold that lasts for at least 6 months at a time, often wishing for summer to come. as if the state of our summers ever changed. on the other hand, once summer hits, everyone moans and groans that it's too hot. i find it all pretty amusing.

i encourage you.....get out there and get dark.

  • yezzir, DC was great getaway from home. i need that sometimes.

    the weather here just heated up in the past two days, but hey...the girls are out in their summer gear and it's time to break out the best outfit ever...t-shirt/shorts/flip flops.
