working with a short wick
canadian income taxes have to be filed by the 30th. today's, what?...the 25th? meaning i have 6 days left. i have work later on tonight and tomorrow, so i'll probably end up filing on friday.

"probably" is the operative word here, kids.

why did i leave it till the last minute this year, i'll never know. oh well, it's not like im making buckets and buckets of duccets. they owe me!!! so i doubt, if anything, that the canadian government will be on my ass (that hard).

let's see if my friday objective falls through...

the money that i'll be clawing back will surely go towards important things - like an iPhone or another backpacking trip. egypt, maybe? you know, life-and-death needs like those.

  • son....you are always welcome to join me on another trip. i'm kind of tentative right now in terms of destination and when...but pyramidland looks good. same time as last year, roughly. 2-3 weeks though. let me know. i just figured that you're gonna be working during that time. but by all means...come! we're the team!
