green (shadow) boxing
it's no secret that mother nature is pissed. check out our weather. on the one hand they say that our generation will be the first to bury our kids in their graves if we don't change our sedentary lifestyles and eating habits. if that doesn't get us, then i honestly feel the earth will. so what have you done, so far?

i always give mad props to the way my city, mississauga, takes care of it's rubbish. upon it's genesis, 'sauga was at the forefront of recycling. last year, they made recycling even easier by taking the thought out of the whole process (i.e. no sorting plastic from paper required).

a few weeks back i came home to a giant ass green box on my doorstep. the box is for the new organics recycling/composting program that begins this week. for a couple years now, the city of toronto has been in the mix doing the green box thing and i guess suburbia is just starting to get the green light. although we recieved this green box about a month ago, nobody has read the supplementary pamphlet and hence, nobody has started saving any organic kitchen waste. i'll take that as my cue to read the information and take head role as organics green box information head-dissimination grand master of the household.

too bad i'll be late in spreading the word though. the progam starts pick up today. my bad.
do your part and put those eggshells where the sun don't shine....BACK INTO THE EARTH!!!!

i even took pics of these cool green boxes that were lined up on my street.

    bastardo.

question: if you were madlib, why aren't you coming to Toronto?

ps. the smell of rotting food is quite nauseating.
