masterpiece mondays: thai ads
2, almost 3 months later, i'm left with fond memories of se asia.

i remember prior to heading out for the evenings, colin and myself would watch some thai t.v. (assuming our room even had a set). a lot of the time we couldn't even understand a word of what they were saying, but we still "got it". the humour is different there; that's no secret. a lot of the time, living in north america we tend to think that the rest of the world revolves around us.

that's just not the case.

the rest of the world doesn't need the americas; they're just fine on their own.
today, i post ads for two reasons: one, so you can get a glimpse of what's getting play in that part of the world and two, because i'm still going through withdrawl (it's really this second reason. you see, im a real selfish dude. NOT).

did you know red bull originated in thailand but was later purchased by a french corporation, repackaged and sold all over so the rest of the world could be wired too? the variety of energy drinks there is crazy.
