so i've been busy preppin' for this last exam o' mine. i doubt it'll be the last academic exam of all time but it will be for a year. after being schooled formally for 20 years + i can't help but wonder how i'm gonna cope once all is said and done. i guess it'll really sink in once i cross that stage and grab that diploma.

aside from all the straining of the eyes and notemaking, it's been quite the hectic day. woke up at 6, took the garbage out, walked the dog, carved up those mangoes, showered, hit the books for a few hours then made a quick lunch; not for the sake of being hungry - i was heavily into the studying, really. and that smoothie from the morning really put my usual lunchtime hunger pains to shame. i opted for the frozen curried fried rice i found in the freezer and a glass of soy. hit the books again until dinner.

at that point, i needed a change of scenery and thankfully a market-research group decided to request my input by way of telephone. i answered a survey about my consumption about alcoholic beverages and adverstising. pretty amusing for me and the surveyor (girl). which brought me back to the books and which brings me here...but not before i walked the dog and watered the plants.

it's been a long day and gatdamn i've covered a lot of ground.
who needs luck when you have preparation?
