they say men are big babies whenever they get sick.
that's an understatement.

i feel like i'm a fetus -- the way my body feels so fragile right now. every muscle is sore; when i cough it feels like one of my lungs are gonna jump out of my mouth and my senses are all off.

this comes along with the tall glasses of o.j. apple j, ginger tea and tylenols. and the peeing..don't even get me started with the peeing. and my nose...the nostrils: they leak; the way i shove toilet paper up my nose is shameful. my sinuses are blocked making my skull feel like it's a giant pressure cooker on high heat.

was it the change in weather? probably my dad -- he never covers his mouth when he coughs. then again maybe it was my manager at work -- he never puts enough sanitizer on his hands, i swear he doesn't.

maybe it was me...why didn't i get my flu shot? i never get my flu shot. what a fool.

and i thought i had nothing to write about on here. yea right.

  • Sounds like you need a big bowl of arroz caldo. I personally prefer it over chicken noodle soup.

  • ahhh they both sound really good right now. the arroz caldo with patis and lemon juice...maybe some soy sauce in there. and the soup...oh baby..the soup with some crackers and lots of black pepper.

    then again, i just wish someone in this house would replace the empty bottle of tylenol. cmonnnnn!!!
