saul williams is synonymous with spoken word and slam poetry.

werd.

"list of demands" is a song that finds it's rightful place in two mixes of my itunes box - my 'fresness mix' and my 'early morning' mix.

the song is driven. it's raw. it's powerful. and most of all...it's catchy.

below i have two versions and videos. the first is the original by saul, himself. it was written concerning the reparations that blacks rightfully DEMAND from the u.s. government. the 2nd version comes all the way from sweden and flips the script with two blondies hand clapping and giggling side by side on a piano and casio.

i like both versions and with that said, my mom always told me to share.

["list of demands" by saul williams]
["list of demands" by robyn carlsson & jenny wilson]

you're welcome.
