masterpiece mondays: "be" live
one of my favourite cuts from common's "be" released two years ago (already?). aside from com's lyricism the song was a joint production between kanye and dilla.

although a short intro song, it's one of my favourites.
com's album "finding forever" will basically be a tribute to long time best friend, j-dilla. although produced by mr. west, the sound and feel of the album will be highly influenced by the soulful sounds of dilla; it's kanye and com's way of paying homage to the deceased producer.

i heard it's going to be released this summer but you never know with album release dates nowadays. for now, enjoy the live clip from the conan show.
